KeDrive D3 can be used to generate a wide range of drive solutions. The openness of the interfaces enables simple integration into existing systems.

  • Compact multi-axis servo drive of the latest generation with integrated safety
  • One to three axes in one housing - up to 3 x 6A continuous current on 55mm housing width!
  • Single-cable technology with Hiperface DSL as well as EtherCAT and Profinet as interface
  • The KeDrive D3 servodrive is a component of the Kemro X multi-axis automation system and consists of the following perfectly matched components:
    • Supply unit with/without regenerative power supply up to 240 kW max. power
    • Integrated 24V power supply unit for auxiliary power supply
    • Single-axle, double-axle and triple-axle controller up to 210A cont/420A peak (triple peak current up to 45/135A)

Compactness

  • KeDrive D3 is the benchmark for compactness in automation systems
  • With a typical configuration of 6 axes including auxiliary power supply, KeDrive D3 saves approx. 40 % space in the control cabinet compared to standard multi-axis systems on the market and an additional 60 % compared to the use of single axes

Safety

  • The high safety level, extensive functionality and response times of 2 ms mean that it can be used in all applications
  • Standard: STO according to SIL3, PL e, KAT 4, SBC according to SIL2, PL d, KAT 3
  • Option: safe motion functions such as SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS, SLI, SDI and SLP to SIL3, PL e, KAT 4
  • Safety PLC: The Safety PLC integrated in the drive controller can react very flexibly and quickly to events.

  • KeDrive D3 supports classic encoder systems as well as single-cable technology
  • No need for encoder cables and simpler installation
  • Encoder information and motor temperature are transmitted via only 2 wires of the motor cable

  • High computing power thanks to powerful drive ASIC with 32-bit microcontroller and floating point unit per axis controller. Three-axis controller without limiting computing power!
  • Extensive control functions such as compensation of encoder errors, errors in the mechanical transmission path, friction and cogging torques, suppression of resonance frequencies, predictive feedforward control structure with pico interpolation
  • Autotuning for identifying the machine mechanics and automatic parameterization of the control structures and parameters
