Sustainable drive solution in mold making

Kebo, a leading manufacturer of injection molding tools for demanding applications in the medical industry, relies on the precision and reliability of Parkem's GSX60 electric cylinder.

Electrical ejector solutions in injection-molded forms

A leading company in the field of precision injection molding for the medical industry was faced with the challenge of replacing hydraulic drives in injection molds with efficient, electric drive solutions. As part of the collaboration with Parkem, Exlar electric cylinders were integrated into various injection molds for this customer to ensure the precise and reliable functioning of the ejector and unscrewing mechanisms.

Butter precisely dosed

A hydraulic system in a butter churn was replaced by an electromechanical drive, resulting in more precise dosing and less changeover time. The new system is more efficient, quieter and has a 60% reduction in power consumption compared to the hydraulic solution. In addition, the unwanted hydraulic system, including oil and leaks, was eliminated from production.

VR simulator

The Birdly VR simulator allows people to fly like a bird thanks to an interactive mechatronic system and visualization techniques. Parkem, as the drive technology partner, provided the right solution by integrating high-quality components such as electric actuators and servo systems. With Parkem's drive technology, the Birdly VR simulator receives optimal performance and support to provide a unique flying experience.

Production of airbag detonator caps

In collaboration with Parkem, Mikron Automation has developed a high-precision servopress solution and integrated it into the production line for airbag detonator caps. The flexiPRESS is a compact solution with ATEX certification that enables precise and dynamic force control. By using this servopress solution, inadequate force and position control is avoided, which leads to a reduction in waste.

Highly dynamic and precise dosing

The Hilger u. Kern / Dopag Group relies on the compact GTX electric actuators from Parkem for its piston metering units. We supported Dopag in the selection of the drive components, carried out tests and optimized the control concept. The result is reliable dosing results and high dosing accuracy, making vectodis and vectomix particularly effective products.
