AktuatorWatt: Up to 30% subsidy for replacing pneumatic cylinders

Compressed air is one of the most expensive energy sources in industry. In Switzerland alone, it accounts for about 2% of total electricity consumption. Replacing pneumatic actuators with electric solutions can result in energy savings of up to 90%, depending on the application. At the same time, companies benefit from lower operating and maintenance costs as well as greater operational flexibility.

The AktuatorWatt funding program from EBP, supported by ProKilowatt and the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, provides additional funding for the transition from pneumatic to electric systems. Projects can receive funding covering up to 30% of the investment costs, or a maximum of 90,000 Swiss francs per project.
