AktuatorWatt Funding Program

Compressed air is expensive—it accounts for about 2% of Switzerland’s total electricity consumption. Over two million pneumatic actuators are in use in industry. Replacing them with electric solutions can result in significant electricity savings of up to 90%, depending on the application. In addition, there are significantly lower operating and maintenance costs, as well as greater flexibility in production. This makes it a major driver of cost-effectiveness and sustainability!

AktuatorWatt Incentive Program: Electric Instead of Pneumatic

With EBP’s AktuatorWatt incentive program—supported by ProKilowatt from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy—the switch from pneumatic to electric systems is now eligible for additional funding.

As an accredited partner of EBP, Parkem handles all the paperwork—from project calculations to the application and approval process, right through to payment!

So take advantage of the AktuatorWatt subsidy program when you replace your pneumatic actuators with electric ones! It applies to both direct replacements and replacements as part of comprehensive plant modernizations.

The replacement is subsidized with up to 30% of the investment costs, limited to 90,000 Swiss francs per project.

It’s that simple

  1. Contact Parkem as soon as you plan to replace your pneumatic actuators.
  2. We’ll discuss the pneumatic application with you from a technical perspective and use our expertise to determine the right electric solution.
  3. You’ll receive a quote that includes CAD drawings and service life calculations for the electric solution.
  4. At the same time, we’ll show you the annual energy savings and the corresponding one-time grant amount. This way, you can see at a glance how much of the investment cost is covered by the grant and what annual energy costs can be saved.
  5. Once the final solution is in place, we’ll handle all the paperwork—from the application to the approval of the grant—within a few days.
  6. The subsidy amount is usually deducted directly from the final Parkem invoice. Alternatively, the subsidy amount can be paid out separately after the final invoice has been paid.
