Thanks to the ironless design of the U-series, there are no attractive forces between the forcer and the magnet yoke and therefore no cogging. The low dead weight of the forcer enables very dynamic applications in which fast acceleration and high cycle times with maximum positioning accuracy are paramount. These ironless linear motors are suitable for a wide range of applications.
