Servo-electric glass bottle pusher
Inmara is setting new standards in the glass industry with the DCI-T servo-electric pusher. The robust design and innovative, flexible programming make it possible to make uninterrupted changes to the movement sequence during operation. These features facilitate the precise insertion of glass articles of any shape into the annealing lehr, supported by an intuitive touch panel and state-of-the-art servo axes with EtherCAT bus control.
Parkem's drive package comprises three precision-controlled servo axes consisting of F-Type Sevo motors and the compact L7NH EtherCAT servo drives from LS Electric. This configuration enables precise control of the X, Y and Z movements that push the glass bottles into the annealing lehr.
For additional stability when handling jars that are sensitive to tipping, such as bulky perfume bottles, the machines are optionally equipped with a fourth servo axis. It positions a special pre-holding device, which serves as an anti-tipper and increases safety during the production process. This pre-holding drive runs synchronously with the movements of the three main servo axes.
Parkem supported Inmara in designing the optimum drive package as well as in commissioning and connecting it to the external machine controller via EtherCAT. The cooperation with Inmara underlines Parkem's ability to effectively implement specific challenges in the industry through customized automation solutions.
